Welcome to Bruin Entrepreneurs Strategic Engagement (Bruin Entrepreneurs Strategy), a subsidiary of Bruin Entrepreneurs, a campus organization at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Bruin Entrepreneurs Strategy provides strategic services to early-stages projects and existing startups, supporting the development of innovation and productive design in moving the world forward.

Our Services for Early Stage Projects and Existing Startups

We provide personalized services catered towards your industry and service needs, staffing a strong engagement team that meets beyond expectations, all while maintaining ethical independence. Clients will have access to collaborate with experienced undergraduate students with passion, insight, and excitement. All client-based engagement teams will have a Partner and Director staffed for client point-of-contacts and oversight, with several Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

What will working with Bruin Entrepreneurs Strategy look like?

We anticipate every project to look different to meet the custom needs for each client. After being in touch with the Bruin Entrepreneurs Strategy P&Ds, you will be in touch with your engagement team, and your point-of-contacts to ensure a transparent means of communication and collaboration. Upon signing your Client Engagement Contract Letter, your engagement team’s P&Ds will invite your team’s staff to the Bruin Entrepreneurs Network (BENet) and BEConnected (BEC).

BENet

BENet allows for you to see our internal resources and our directory, giving you instant access to connect and communicate with your engagement team staff.

BEConnected

BEConnected is a place to see your project in one place, seeing the tasks that your engagement team is working on, and a place for you to securely upload files we request to help your engagement team perform analyses that will aid in risk identification, market research, etc.

Executive Leadership

Nathan Lim

Managing Partner

Nathan Lim is the 11th and former President of Bruin Entrepreneurs (2023-2024), previously directing the organization’s Designathon at UCLA. Under his administration, Bruin Entrepreneurs launched BENet, BEConnected, and Bruin Entrepreneurs Strategy, while undergoing an organization restructuring.

In addition to his role at Bruin Entrepreneurs, Lim serves TMT and Consumer clients at Deloitte in their Audit & Assurance group. His primary areas of concentration include experience in ESG/sustainability and risk assessment, trial balances, advisory, and transformation in accordance with GAAP (FASB ASC) and SOX.

Proud Puangmaha is the 12th and current President of Bruin Entrepreneurs (2024-2025), formerly serving as the organization’s Vice President. She also served as a Project Manager for Designathon at UCLA: summit 2023 and Startup Labs: Bootcamp.

Saumya Mahajan

Saumya Mahajan is the current Vice President of Bruin Entrepreneurs (2024-2025), formerly serving as the organization’s Director of Weekly Nights and 1000 Pitches.

Anna Moulds

Director

Anna Moulds is the Director of Weekly Nights and 1000 Pitches of Bruin Entrepreneurs’ 12th Administration. With a deep-rooted passion for animal welfare and bioengineering, Moulds intertwines interests across multiple interests while significantly impacting the intersection of business and science for meaningful contributions to cellular agriculture and ethical and environmental considerations.

Isabella Mora

Director

Isabella Mora is the Director of Media and Designathon at UCLA of Bruin Entrepreneurs’ 12th Administration. Guided by her interests and passion in Design and Media Arts, Mora’s practices have revolved around equity, accessibility, and inclusion in design, ensuring otpimization of visual identities.

Meet Modi

Director

Meet Modi is the Co-Director of Startup Fair LA and BruinLabs of Bruin Entrepreneurs’ 12th Administration. Modi’s experiences and practices in software engineering and computer science has guided him to managing logistics for events, talent acquisition, and workshops for startups, early-stage businesses, and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Nehmat Sandhu

Director

Nehmat Sandhu is the Director of Finance Solutions of Bruin Entrepreneurs’ 12th Administration. Previously, she served as Interim Director of BruinLabs of Bruin Entrepreneurs’ 11th Administration. Sandhu’s expertise in materials engineering with a technical breadth in technology management allows her to apply principles of Research & Development and Experimental Analysis.

Vishal Yathish

Director

Vishal Yathish is the Co-Director of Startup Fair LA and BruinLabs of Bruin Entrepreneurs’ 12th Administration. Yathish’ experience in research and software development, as well as his expertise in data management and digital system has allowed him to propel work that bridges startup and entrepreneurs to effective resources, while improving Bruin Entrepreneurs’ in-house startup accelerator and related programs.
